Though my areas of specialization have been in trauma recovery and play therapy with children, teens, and adults, I also have had successful experience working with the following, in no particular order: Depression, Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorders, ADD/ ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Grief/ Loss, Life Transitions, Behavior Management, Parenting Concerns, Hoarding, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Sessions are conducted individually, in family sessions, and also as couples.
I am the owner and founder of Gulf Coast Therapy Works, LLC. I am an LPC- Supervisor in AL, an LMHC in FL and an LPC in LA and WY. I am a Registered Play Therapist with the Association of Play Therapy and also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with the International Association of Trauma Professionals. I am also trained in EMDR.
I am able to provide in person sessions in AL. I am also able to provide Telemedicine to individuals living in the states in which I am licensed. I am eclectic in my style, meaning I utilize several different modalities of treatment in order to meet the needs of patients. I am also trained to provide Christian Counseling to those requesting it.
