Hi! I’m Kenzie. I specialize in eating disorders, body image, anxiety, and depression. I became a therapist because I am passionate about letting others know that they are not alone in the pain they experience. I have personally experienced how mental health challenges can leave you feeling hopeless about ever being able to live life without being overwhelmed and consumed by feelings of anxiety, shame, and self-hatred. I'm honored to be able to bear witness to my clients’ stories and support them in discovering their ability to manage distressing feelings, break free from shame about food and their bodies, and live meaningful lives.
I love working with teen and adult clients to help them heal their relationships with food, their bodies, exercise, and themselves. My approach to therapy is warm, honest, and integrative. I work from an anti-diet, intuitive eating, and Health at Every Size (HAES) framework and often incorporate body neutrality and acceptance principles into sessions.
I believe we all need a place where we can share our stories. Healing occurs when we can give voice to our pain without fear of judgment. I strive to create relationships with my clients where this is possible. I'm so grateful to do this work and would be honored to work with you and hear your story.
