With over 25 years working in the mental health field, I have found that a compassionate, empathetic approach is a necessity when providing therapy. Seeking therapy can be very challenging; one has usually endured a great amount of hardship or discomfort before even making the decision to seek help. A significant aspect to therapy is that to be truly effective, a person must feel comfortable with their therapist and build considerable trust to help facilitate their healing. My goal is to find the best approach that will work for you, maximizing the benefit you will receive in therapy.
I have extensive experience helping people who suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, difficult life changes as well as many others. I work solely with individuals-adults and seniors. My experience in the field has been in inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings. I am happy to answer any questions I can before the appointment.
There are many methods of therapy, however I believe since individuals and their experiences are unique, I will work with you to find the treatment modality that best suits you. I offer flexible hours to accommodate work/school schedules. I look forward to meeting with you. I am utilizing telehealth at this time for the convenience of my clients.
