I work with individuals using evidence-based interventions to help address a variety of concerns. My approach when working with children and adolescents is to include the family unit in the therapeutic process to help set and achieve goals whenever possible. I believe it is important for a therapist to work alongside the client/family to help guide them in their transformation, not be the sole director of the journey. I aim to help clients develop the skills to maintain their growth long after therapy is over and generalize their skills to other situations life may put in their path.
I tailor therapy based on each client’s individual needs. I specialize in behavior disorders, ADHD, family issues/conflict, adjustment/coping issues, anxiety, school issues, and anger control/emotion regulation difficulties. I am a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) provider.
