I began my career in residential treatment working with adolescents and adults suffering with a combination of addiction and mental health disorders. I work from an Adlerian perspective with a systems integration. I also often incorporate DBT skills in sessions. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents and work with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm behaviors, relationship issues, addiction, codependence, low self-esteem, and those struggling with life transitions.
Working from a place of grace and helping people feel accepted is the most important part of my work. I begin each therapy session by meeting each client where they are at and honoring the pain and suffering that has brought them into my office.
Having a grace-based approach means being seen, cared for, and accepted despite our pain and brokenness, and I believe that through grace, incredible transformation is possible.
