Dr. Laura Obert is a Psychologist in Ohio who has been practicing since 2012. She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Auburn University. Dr. Obert specializes in working with the LGBTQ+ population and their families. As a member of this community who was also trained specifically in working with this community, Dr. Obert believes she has both a personal and professional understanding of the various factors that uniquely affect the LGBTQ+ population.
This includes navigating the coming out process to self and others as well as helping those who have family members, children or partners who identify as LGBTQ+ and would like some support navigating this part of life.
