Welcome! I look forward to meeting you. My practice offers a safe space to feel heard and understood. You are not alone. I specialize in helping women heal from sexual trauma. I know how hard it is to be in healthy relationships with others. The pain, triggers and patterns keep repeating. I help women find the strength within themselves to find who they really are. To learn new ways of being, new skills and ultimately find their true power to move forward and find love within themselves. I provide teletherapy services to South Carolina and California residents. In addition I have a Life and Wellness Coaching program.
I help women on their healing journey with sexual abuse, emotional abuse, life transitions & divorce. As Gabor Mate states, "Trauma is an inner injury, a lasting rupture or split within the self due to difficult or hurtful events" He also states, "Trauma is not what happens to you, but what happens inside you."
Once seen and acknowledged trauma can begin to be worked through. Unresolved and unhealed trauma manifests itself as anxiety, depression, physical ailments, unhealthy relationships, sexual dysfunction and more. My role is to help uncover the root causes for current emotional problems and find ways to acknowledge, accept, grow and move forward.
