I work with teens, & young adults struggling with stress, anxiety, life transitions, emotional regulation, familial issues, ADHD, & more. My experience as a former school counselor provides a unique perspective of the daily struggles of today’s youth and I am passionate about helping families work together to set their teens up for success. I also enjoy working with young adults as they begin to figure out who they are while transitioning into a more independent individual.
My work with clients is rooted in CBT, with a person-centered and holistic approach and includes principles of mindfulness to help empower clients to feel in control of their own mind and unlearn patterns that prevent you from living life to the fullest. I am a firm believer that we can harness the power of our own minds and use its strengths for good.
I strive to bring a warm, empathetic energy to sessions and allow individuals to feel welcome and accepted exactly as they are, providing a sense of validation, comfort, and trust. All while also helping you to uncover compassion for yourself. Together, we will work as a team to discover your strengths and find peace in the chaos!
