If you need someone to listen, you are welcome. My background includes nursing and social work, in addition to clinical psychology, and I have more than twenty years of experience with complex clinical issues. My professional experience enables me to work with general adjustment concerns, as well as with mental health diagnoses. For the last few years I have been offering teletherapy, exclusively. My particular interest is in working with older people, with the help of strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is an empirically based psychological intervention that uses mindfulness and behavior change strategies to increase psychological flexibility. My experience with clinical assessment enables me to work with your medical team to provide integrative care.
Having lived and worked in a variety of geographical locations (rural and urban settings), I am always interested in learning about the life experiences of my clients in the context of community.
