Emotional wounds, pain, and trouble in relationships are part of human experience. Gratefully, mental health care has come a long way in the last 75 years. That means therapists, like me, are trained to provide care that truly helps. We can help you figure out what mountains of research have found truly helps with all the emotional wounds, pain, and difficult relationships. We can help you find what protective mechanisms, addictions, or dissociation is getting in the way of whole-self, joyful living.
I believe there are many facets of each wound or problem. As you begin to see that I truly care, you and I will find we can explore facets that were previously hard to access. It is a beautiful experience and I'm honored to be with you in it. This works for any individual of any gender, ethnicity, faith-background who wants to take the next step.
I believe in this work and continue this work because I have seen it improve lives: reconnection to the playful and creative part of yourself, improvement in relationships, beginning to feel safe again, and improving that most important relationship with yourself. There is hope to experience healing.
