Do you find yourself overwhelmed and stuck with all the demands and stress in life? My belief in therapy is based on the principle that we as humans are always changing and growing. Throughout life, we all face obstacles or challenges that we must work through in order to reach our optimal self. My goal is to process current and past experiences in order to grow and identify how they impact the present and future. I used mixed cognitive and relational approaches to shape positive thinking and increase awareness. I strive to create a safe, empowering environment where you can learn and grow.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and have experience in various levels of care including outpatient, in-school, and partial hospitalization. I received my degrees in Developmental & Family Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am currently also pursuing my PhD in counselor education.
Areas of experience include emerging adulthood, phase-of-life stressors, anxiety, depression, postpartum/parenting , trauma, LGBTQ, family relationships, loss, and behavioral issues.
