Hi, I'm Mia and I'm so glad you're here. I believe that mental wellness is attainable for everyone who is willing to do the work. Like cultivating a beautiful garden, although the work can be difficult and sometimes messy, the results are beautiful and miraculous. Through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with the foundation of Positive and Self Psychology we will take a closer look at your beliefs, behaviors, and experiences with the goal of increasing health and getting rid of what is no longer serving you.
As we learn new skills (coping, healing, self care), how to apply those new skills, and practice new skills, you will begin to manifest the experiences that bring joy into your life. Behavioral health and mental wellness are rooted in how we are developing within the context of our relationships.
