I look forward to working with you to identify areas of concern and develop goals to address those concerns. I will use various therapeutic techniques (CBT and Strength Focused Approach) as well as resources to assist in resolving issues to meet your goals. I am trained in the use of EMDR with adults and children to address trauma and anxiety, which I have observed to be effective and life changing for many. I am happy to incorporate Christian/Biblical principles in our work together if you so choose.
I have 12 years of experience working with clients from children to the elderly. My experience includes work in addictions, co-dependency, child welfare, domestic violence, hospice/grief, military issues, caregiver issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting, adoption, attachment, and relationship issues.
Making the decision to seek help from a counselor/therapist is intimidating. I will provide a comfortable, safe, and compassionate environment for you to share, learn, and make strides towards positive change.
