My belief is that quality, comprehensive healthcare involves an integrative focus of the physical, psychological, cultural, and spiritual nature of the human construct. I have come to honor and respect the strength and resilience of each individual I've worked with and recognize the importance in honoring these assets in the treatment process.
My practice consists of integrating the use of evidenced based practices while individualizing these treatments to my client's needs. I provide a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space for clients to work through their challenges. It is through this collaborative relationship that the healing process may occur.
Although I am trained to treat a variety of presenting concerns, my areas of expertise include the treatment of Anxiety, Depression, PTSD & other Traumatic Experiences, Relationship Problems, Adjustment to Chronic Illnesses (e.g., Cancer), Life Transitions (Divorce, Empty Nest), Loss of a Significant Other, Parenting Support, and Low Self-Esteem.
