I hold unconditional positive regard as the key to a great therapeutic relationship. I work to meet people where they are, to actively listen and understand their values, and to explore and support them to better connect with themselves and others. My goal is to help people cultivate loving acceptance of themselves, and gain insight of how the past impacts the present, while creating an awareness that the past doesn't have to dictate their present or future.
Every person is the expert of their life, and each of us holds the seeds to our healing. My practice is attachment and trauma focused, with an orientation in humanistic and psychodynamic techniques; I utilize a variety of treatment approaches tailored to the needs and goals of each client.
I believe all humans have inherent worth and dignity, and that each person can overcome the trauma and struggles they have endured and continue to overcome. I will be honored to work with you on your journey.
