Renew Wellness specializes in providing EMDR therapy to individuals who are seeking holistic healing in a safe and welcoming environment. All of the clinicians at Renew Wellness are trained, certified, or are consultants in EMDR therapy. As well as individual therapy, Renew Wellness offers EMDR intensives that are concentrated session that allow you to focus on long-lasting healing and improvement.
Renew Wellness was founded in 2012 by Anna C. Schott, LISW-S and Cassie Starinsky, LISW-S, both of whom worked for many years in a traditional mental health treatment system and found that traditional therapy was not enough. Using their knowledge, skills, and passions, Anna and Cassie embarked on a journey to find the most comprehensive and transformative methods of healing, through EMDR therapy and other evidence based treatment modalities as well as yoga and meditation. Renew Wellness represents this holistic collaboration and recognizes that the most dynamic healing comes from connecting the mind, body, and spirit. Since 2012, Renew Wellness has grown from a two-woman show to what it is today, a thriving, multi-location counseling practice with a multitude of like-minded practitioners who are trained, certified, and consultants in EMDR therapy as well as other complementary evidence based therapies.
Breathing connects the mind and body and promotes healing on a physical level. Healing is the ability to process past memories, beliefs, feelings, and sensations that prevent us from living in the present. Thriving is working on our self-development, personal growth, and resilience so we can live an authentic life.
