I provide somatic (body focused) modalities, including Somatic Experiencing (TM), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), parts work, yogic concepts, deep inquiry and deep listening. Adjunct therapy offered for specific issues if you are already working regularly with another therapist and want to focus on a specific issue. For some people short term EMDR therapy can be highly effective, and for others the process may take longer. Together, we will chart a course that addresses your complexity and goals.
Telling your story may have therapeutic value, but can also be unhelpfully distressing for some. A somatic approach to EMDR, with a focus on the body and nervous system, enhances the effectiveness of this modality. Clearing patterns rooted in the past can greatly improve the ability to fully show up for the present with care and attention.
