Making that 1st phone call can be the hardest part of seeking counseling. Finding someone you feel comfortable with is essential. It's just, life can be hard-everyday stressors can be hard to manage but if you experience a life altering event (a break-up, divorce, death, etc), it can become unmanageable (depression, anxiety addiction, etc). I can provide a safe space with a warm down to earth style that is supportive and judgement free. I like to work from a strength-based perspective and together work on making the positive change you are looking for and deserve.
I have dedicated the last six years working in the field of addiction. I am passionate about helping individuals with substance use disorder, dual diagnosis and problem gambling. I also like to work with people who may have short term goals they want to work on but are struggling to get started.
