I will keep this short and simple. I have always been fascinated with how the mind can heal the brain! My focus in the counseling profession has always been with trauma and how to heal oneself through different therapy models. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) , Brain Spotting, Mindfulness Based Emotional Processing, Dialectical behavior and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. My main focus in therapy is "YOU." I will use whatever skills I have and incorporate them into your treatment. I am open minded therapist; therefore nothing you tell me is too big or small!
I have past experience with couples, substance abuse/addictions, working with the elderly and refugees. I can help with PTSD, Depression, relationship issues and Mindfulness based treatment.
My main goal is to listen to what you need and help explore different healing modalities. Sometimes its something specific or it's just to be heard and radical acceptance.

Dialectal behavioral therapy group
This will start as a online group. We will meet Wednesday evenings at 6pm starting 12/28/22. DBT is a skill building approach that teaches a person how to control emotions. We will explore mindfulness, distress tolerance, conflict resolution and emotional regulation. It is a evidence based treatment. I look forward to meeting with you and creating a safe place to learn and grow together.

Surviving Sexual Abuse
This group will meet online every week. It is going to be a processing group where you can open up and talk about your feelings. Many of you have hidden this from others and feel ashamed and alone. This group will help you discuss it and get support from your peers as they have been through the same thing. You are not alone. You will develop skills and different healing techniques to help you process and get through the trauma that you may be experiencing in your head. Many of you suffer in silence. You do not have too!
