Soteria House philosophy
Soteria House is open to all Vermonters 18 and older and serves people going through an early episode of an extreme state, sometimes called psychosis. At Soteria, we believe that challenging experiences can be met and understood with creativity, courage, and community. More about us
We are a 5-bedroom Therapeutic Community Residence that has been operating since 2015. Soteria Vermont aims to be a non-restrictive environment where residents are able to establish, maintain, and renew relationships and activities in the community. Soteria House offers relationship-driven peer support informed by lived experience of staff, 24/7 staffing, coordination with community service providers and other resources, such as education, employment support, psychiatric consultation (all optional).
