I am a registered Counselling Psychologist and am currently based in East London. My work mainly entails providing comprehensive counselling and psychological support to individual adults, adolescents and children above the age of 13 years with psychological problems. I am fluent in English, isiXhosa and isiZulu. I offer a wide range of individual therapy, pre-/ post-natal counselling, grief and trauma counselling. I work predominantly from these theoretical frameworks; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy and Narrative Therapy.
I work integratively, meaning I use various techniques from different kinds of therapy to fit the client's individual needs. I work collaboratively because I believe that people are the expert in their own lives and with my expertise as a psychologist, we are able to reach their goals using evidence-based practices.
