I work with anyone who is confronted with psychological challenges, from mental health issues, learning difficulties to behavioural problems. I provide an understanding non-judgemental compassionate space where we unpack your challenges and 're-build' using therapeutic strategies. I'm an addiction professional, I also work substantially to provide anyone the needed care and healing by addressing the physical, emotional and psychological aspects of addiction.
I'm a registered Counselling Psychologist. I provide (1) a safe environment to talk about the difficult experiences, and (2) necessary tools to help manage them. In my integrative approach, to intervene, I use the tools of my trade which include Cognitive-Behavioural therapy & Family therapy to provide comprehensive psychological treatment.
My work experience has given me insight to better understand the pressures and demands on people, and in most cases we need someone to check-in with. My approach is to support you in a meaningful way in order to help you 'face up to negative / traumatic experiences, cultivate resilience, and develop better emotional functioning'.
