I have a Social Work degree (UCT) and BA Honours in Psychology (Unisa).I work with adults,children who have experienced trauma, life adjustment issues and children who are experiencing trauma either from sexual abuse and those with difficulty coping with divorce or separation of parents. I work holistically with both parents and children. When working with adults I use various modalities namely cognitive behavior therapy, brief therapy solution and narrative therapy. I work collaboratively with clients using the strength based approach to empower them with tools to be self reliant and reach their optimum level of functioning.
-I can help and assist adults and children with tools to regulate their suppressed emotion.. I can assist with family therapy and support and mediation. I can assist with bereavement counselling and how to process and deal with traumatic situations and the impact thereof.
