Hi everyone, I am Ntokozo Bukeka Mthembu, a specialist wellness counsellor. Mental health is something that one wishes to gain; we want the ability to wake up without the heavy pain in our chest of starting the day and we want to do our everyday tasks without bricks stacked on our shoulders. I am open to giving you an ear that actively listens and a non-judgemental space. Struggles such as trauma, emotional distress, couple/marriage issues, and victim (GBV or any violence against you) are something we can collaboratively work on.
I offer a holistic approach to counselling, which means I offer support to you as a whole person. The goal is for you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself as well as to be empowered and gain resilience. I specialise in trauma, loss and grief, victim support, couple/marriage counselling, and emotional wellbeing.
Your feelings are valid. A point that I strongly believe in, you can be mad, happy, disguised, and so on, but how we handle that emotion is key. For me to know why you are here for counselling, I wish to understand where you come from. Empathy, non-judgemental, and trustworthy space is what I aim for.
