I am a competent, skilled, and compassionate clinical psychologist working primarily with individuals and couples. I have gained extensive experience in treating individuals both in South Africa and in the United Kingdom presenting with a wide variety of issues, including emotional, psychiatric, and health-related difficulties. I have trained in a number of different models of psychological therapy and draw from all these models when treating patients. I also offer group Mindfulness-Based-Cognitive-Therapy (MBCT) courses, an evidence-based treatment for relapsing depression and other emotional and psychological conditions.
I specialize in treating individuals experiencing mood-related difficulties, psychiatric diagnoses, challenges they experience in their intimate relationships, and in relationships with work colleagues and friends. I have also had extensive experience assisting men and women who have eating and body-related problems. I also offer couples therapy.
Therapy offers a safe space in which you can look closely at the challenges you are experiencing. I will help you to better understand the patterns of thought and behaviour that affect your life.
