I am a clinical psychologist in private practice and initially qualified as a social worker. Taking into account each person’s unique personality, goals and issues, I work from an eclectic approach to ensure that individual needs and situations are addressed. In this integrative approach, various psychotherapeutic modalities such as the psychodynamic approach, cognitive behavioural therapy and narrative therapy are utilised. Issues may include depression, anxiety, trauma, divorce, couples therapy and bereavement.
I have extensive experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families and believe that psychotherapy is a collaborative process were change and growth happens in a non- judgemental space where emotional struggles are expressed and explored and options and choices are examined.
One often feels overwhelmed and anxious and this clouds your vision. Therapy restores a sense of connectedness with the self and others.
