I am a clinical psychologist offering psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. I work psychodynamically, meaning I believe in the unconscious, and that our feelings about ourselves and others are often rooted in our early experiences. At the same time, I am attuned to the social factors that shape our ways of living in the world, and consider each individual holistically in their context.
In my practice, I seek to gently support you in getting to know your unique ways of responding and relating. Although therapy is not a quick fix, taking small steps to face difficult feelings and understand yourself more meaningfully can fundamentally enhance the quality of your life and relationships.
I understand that beginning therapy can be daunting. I aim to create a safe space for us to work together, and to help you to feel less alone in what you are facing. My style is warm and collaborative, and sessions are confidential.
