Hi, thank you for clicking on this page. I thought it would be nice for you to know. Through my own journey, I came to the realization, that there are some things I cannot do fully by myself. That very often there is some kind of move that has to happen for me to attain change. I used to think of this as degrading. Now, my understanding is, there is nothing degrading about it. It is simply alignment. As a Counselling Psychologist, I learnt, people approach therapy because here there is a new way of seeing. They often find that as the world keeps on moving forward, here, is the space we create a moment to stand still for them.
“It is good to know that even one hour can make a difference in a life” as Carl Rogers proposes. I work from a Person-Centered, Humanistic Approach, that help keep careful consideration of cultural concerns and practices. I also enjoy focusing on aspects of Psychodynamic Therapy.
I collaborate with clients to identify and enlist their internal strengths and resources to approach life’s challenges. I firmly believe that the therapeutic relationship should be one of authenticity, collaboration, and one that feels safe and supportive.
