A young girl when she first visited magical Underland, Alice Kingsleigh (Mia Wasikowska) is now a teenager with no memory of the place -- except in her dreams. To be honest the original story is not my favourite, but I wanted to give this film a chance. I really like Disney movies, but this was really underwhelming for me. I knew everything that is going to happen, there were no surprises and I couldn't connect with any character. The view was great but the story was boring

It's Tim Burton's show and I'm guessing that he got what he wanted out of the performances, the costumes, the art and the sets. But I'm not sure it's what the audiences wanted or expected.

I watched this movie so many times as a kid and loved it. I was scared to rewatch it as an adult thinking I would hate it, but it still holds up. It's not as great as I remembered it when I was a kid, but I still really enjoy the movie and I don't get all the negative reviews about it.
