Amelia's Children is a tedious horror movie with mostly wooden acting in a story that has more insipid moping than any real scares. The characters react to twisted family secrets in ways that are hard to believe. The movie's ending is atrocious.

it's worth watching, and the setting is visually pleasant, but a few scenes involving automated translation are just not very well handled by the director, and this is especially problematic in terms of exposition. it would be better if instead of having lengthy conversations translated by the protagonist's phone in a robot voice, we just heard a few lines from the phone and then it faded into only subtitles and/or a flashback montage.

Really great film! I will admit, it’s an extremely slow burn of a film, but so well made with a great cast. As long as you go into it not expecting a fast paced thriller, you will enjoy this.

Must watch for horror/creepy movie fans. You can never trust critics on movies like this. They always need the movie to say something about life or society. They never understood that some movies are just meant to entertain. This is a great example.

I have questions. Putting the incest aside, let's look at the missing picture here..how did Amelia become youthful again? Did she eat the former father or did she have twins again and devoured the one that was unable to have children? How did she know which one was in unable to have children, she did keep manual around which means that she had to raise him first before sleeping with him to be sure... I'ma need some answers
