There were massive plot holes and the main characters don’t actually reunite until the final ten minutes. Also, they have a completely irrelevant plot with Axel’s daughter, Jane, and Gordon Levitt. On the other hand, it was very nostalgic but not necessarily good.

Delighted to say this captured the charm and spirit of the original movies. Axel being Axel (though his unmistakable laugh was nowhere to be found) and callbacks to Serge, Taggart and Rosewood. Highly entertaining, even though there were plenty of predictable story elements.
