Hannah Strong Little White Lies It’s a thoughtfully produced film, but one that lacks on the story front, as fun as some of the more bizarro moments are. Rated: 3/5 Aug 20, 2024 Full Review Becca James Chicago Reader Cuckoo is far from perfect, but Hunter Schafer’s acting and a satisfying twist make it worth a watch. Aug 16, 2024 Full Review Sergio Burstein Los Angeles Times The best of all is Schafer, fully effective in the development of a character who initially seems to be a scared bunny, but who gradually shows their claws. [Full review in Spanish] Aug 15, 2024 Full Review John Paul King Washington Blade Singer’s shrewdly balanced blend of genre tropes and artistic vision as a director never wavers, keeping us not only invested but thrilled by his style even during his movie’s silliest moments. Aug 19, 2024 Full Review Christopher Cross Asynchronous Media Cuckoo is an exciting genre exercise that aptly can’t figure out its personality. Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 19, 2024 Full Review Charles Koplinski Illinois Times While it delivers plenty of cringe-worthy moments, it’s the knowing humor that helps sustain this strange concoction, one that is best viewed with a raucous crowd and, if one is available, an ornithologist. aimee Thought is was great and Dan Stevens was a creepy genius! He's really making his way in horror and I'm here for it! The cinematography was great and it did a good job of drawing you in! Might start off a little slow for some ppl but this needed it for the story arc. It was something refreshing and new. It gave me a silent Hill siren feeling when you heard the noise.. in My opinion it was masterful and a must see for a horror fanatic. It didn't disappoint I wanted more! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/20/24 Full Review Kelvin G It's kind of all over the place. The leads do a great job in their roles but the story is kind of broken. The final act is very over the top compared to the rest of the movie and the ending left something to be desired Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/20/24 Full Review AB Story was convoluted and wandering. I wish there was less family drama setup and more creature backstory development. Acting was good. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/19/24 Full Review Jonathan Ridiculously cool… Hunter Schaefer is is perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/19/24 Full Review Steven Very original horror film, definitely recommend! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/19/24 Full Review kaitlyn i think it needs a second movie to explain something’s for sure. filmed well but some things were questionable Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/19/24 Full Review Read all reviews
