Although, still a roughly made film within this era of Disney animation, it's still better than it's predecessors, The Three Cabellors and Saludos Amigos. it puts the three famous Disney characters to more use, I prefer the use of Live action and it fits within the movie. 5.5/10

This movie is just weird. Two animated stories: Bongo and Mickey and the Beanstalk, are stitched together through live action segments that feature ventriloquist Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy. Mr. Bergen's form of comedy does not age well and the live action segments feel more awkward than entertaining. The animated shorts are well done and are entertaining, though the Mickey short is the best of the two. This is also the last time Walt Disney was the voice of Mickey Mouse. You can really hear how his smoking affected his voice if you listen to Mickey from earlier shorts and Mickey from this movie. Worth a watch if you're curious.

Ok, let me get this straight. You try to get a bear's attention by slapping it in the face? I don't get it. But nonetheless, FUN AND FANCY FREE does have really good music, and it's really nice to see Mickey, Donald, and Goofy together in one story.

It's like a lot of people say. Mickey and the beanstalk is fantastic while Bongo is just OK. And Bongo has a bit of a laid back tone that you could say is intentional but it kinda makes it a tad bit boring. But i still think this is a good wartime era movie from Disney.
