Christina Newland iNews.co.uk The result is a celebration of homegrown courage, with the vastly overpowered citizens fighting to protect the fragile progress of their rebuilt lives and to banish Godzilla back to the depths of the sea. Rated: 5/5 Sep 17, 2024 Full Review Robbie Collin Daily Telegraph (UK) Yamazaki’s screenplay has subtly framed Shikishima as a stand-in for the nation at large, sloughing off macho Imperial dogma from underneath a suffocating shroud of survivor’s guilt. Rated: 4/5 Jun 3, 2024 Full Review David Sims The Atlantic Godzilla himself takes up only a slim chunk of a run time largely devoted to people running around in awe and horror. That is why Godzilla Minus One is a great film rather than merely an impressive feat of monstrous visual effects. Feb 6, 2024 Full Review Vera Wylde Council of Geeks This is easily, by a pretty wide margin, the best human movie that's ever been in a Godzilla movie. Sep 23, 2024 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand ... a film as much about the legacy of World War II on Japan’s citizens as it is about a giant lizard rising from the sea to wreak havoc on the island nation. Aug 9, 2024 Full Review Stephanie Malone Morbidly Beautiful Among the pantheon of Godzilla films, Minus One is one of the finest entries in the franchise’s 70-year history. It balances spectacle with substance, offering longtime fans and newcomers a reason to believe in the enduring power of the King of Monsters. Rated: 5/5 Jul 19, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

William I've been waiting for a Godzilla movie like this for so long I'd forgotten what I was wanting in one. It had plenty of Godzilla destroying expensive hardware and a beautiful story to boot. I'm very happy this came out before Godzilla vs Kong to remind me how much of a waste of time those movies are. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/23/24 Full Review Carlo Poignant. A return to original Godzilla as atomic horror and trauma. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/20/24 Full Review Kristina T Fantastic. Who knew Godzilla could bring you to tears. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/19/24 Full Review Ryan Great movie a godzilla movie that made me care about the human characters has succeeded at something Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/17/24 Full Review Maurice The only issue I had is someone survives an incident where a normal person would have not. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/24/24 Full Review Joseph The BEST Godzilla!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/01/24 Full Review Read all reviews
