I had to make an account to comment on this movie. While the equipment was fairly impressive, the plot, characters, acting, camera angles, and just general happenings in every shot left… much to be desired. None of the characters motivations or personalities seemed to shine through, which was further muddied by the stale, unconvincing acting. Reactions to what was occurring in the film seems dull or completely unreactive to their in world stimuli. The constant, unnecessary switching of cameras within the same room or to other actors where absolutely nothing is happening were simply dragging. Nothing happened for roughly 95% of the movie, only for it to have an incredibly weak possession that can be pinned by a slightly larger guy and end with most of the crew casually stumbling out of the building relatively Scott free. Growling, music, and light knocking does not a horror movie make. Overall disappointing film.

I don't have much too say. Seen the film in national Scot, if you love paranormal, horror film, watch this. There is blood, which i loved, but needed more action. Does deserve some more recognition although i dont give 5 star

this film is a must see if you love the live style of paranormal, the actors done extremely well, for the budget i was suprised, i love the approach of live to film style, its rarely seen, was put off with the start off it, the phone size, that set me back, but 10 mins in, and i loved it, i would have liked some of the closeburn history, in the storyline was really good, i rate it 4 because i didnt much action, but most movies have this, although i loved the film overall,

I think there could have been more action, i loved the live paranormal side where the actors are talking to the camera in first person sort off mode, i loved the end scene, i was somehow expecting something dramatic like the table or mirror been broke but gathering the budget I understand the struggle of independent, although i loved the horror side of things and the way it turned, the dungeon looks really creepy i loved the paranormal turnover not something u see all movies do to be fair, srry my english is not that good i dnt not speak much englush. Love to see more from venom media

I watched the film just a few days ago, from an independent i have to say am impressed, i first noticed the film on the national, and figured id give it a watch, i will not spoil it... dont worry. I liked the character in it, the acting not gonna lie i was interested, hooked, by the 1hr + mark i wanted more and more, it got more and more intense as aroura wanted to seem to immerse and leave. Like she knew something would happen by the end. This film was also shoot in closeburn castle therefore i was hooked as i visited closeburn city before, so i felt connected, i really wanted calllan to to evil in this, he put on a strong personality, all in and out I enjoyed this. Cant wait for outlast 2. Much love from LA, Cali. us xx honesty from an independent and they deserve more attention.
