Nell Minow Common Sense Media Gentle story of friendship is fine for wee ones. Rated: 3/5 Dec 27, 2010 Full Review Emma Cochrane Empire Magazine It's a slight affair, but the cute Heffalump and some cartoon slapstick are endearing enough to its target audience. Rated: 2/5 Apr 1, 2006 Full Review Amy Simmons Time Out Lessons are duly learnt about fear of the unknown, and it's a sweet enough tale, if lacking in tension. Feb 9, 2006 Full Review Debbie Lynn Elias Behind The Lens For little kids, big kids and the little kid in all of us, there is still nothing as comforting or endearing as Pooh and his friends and the magic of the 100 acre woods. Still a hands down winner after all these years. Nov 14, 2019 Full Review Rachel Wagner Rachel's Reviews (YouTube) It's not the most cinematic but... it's got the nice songs from Carly Simon. Rated: 6/10 Feb 13, 2019 Full Review Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy There's not a scrap of Milne left, at this point. Rated: 5/10 Apr 5, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews

Dale R In this DisneyToon Studios theatrical release, Pooh and the gang encounter evidence of Heffalumps in the 100 acre wood and go about trying to capture one. Meanwhile Roo tries to capture one on his own. In the film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, the idea of a heffalump was an imaginary representation of fear, along with woozles. Changing that into a “you fear what you don’t understand” story didn’t work well for me. The heffalump that Roo encounters, named Lumpy, quickly becomes Roo’s friend. During this process I found Lumpy to be extremely annoying, though that changes a little as the movie progresses. The animation is on par with the other direct to home video Winnie the Pooh movies, but this one was released in theaters and doesn’t live up to that level of expectation. I also feel that they have stuffed Owl’s personality into Rabbit’s so they can have less character voice actors. The history of Disney adding characters into the 100 acre wood has never stuck (Gopher I’m looking at you!) and I do not think Lumpy will stick around long either. You may enjoy this film if you are a Pooh superfan. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/07/24 Full Review George B This Movie is Complete Boring and Roo is in it again and Roo is Annoying Lumpy and I Don't Like Lumpy Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/30/23 Full Review Stella N Sweet and charming. Winnie the pooh movies back then were always cute and fun!
