Meh. I think this is just a Christmas movie, and it's a little bit boring. I can see that the movie want to make a lovely and emotional mood, but unfortunately, it fails. And the ending is too old, not attracted in 2022.

It seems quite a few critics are focused on channeling their inner Scrooge and miss the magic of this adaptation. Rife with music and magic, this Dickens' classic holds my kids' attention (ages 3-6) - no small feat considering the options for entertainment on streaming platforms. It treats the serious subjects in a Christmas Carol with respect while telling the story in a suitable manner for younger children. As an adult, I found myself surprised by the quality of the songs and, despite myself, touched by the story a time or two. If you are looking for a family movie that is entertaining and full of Christmas magic, look no further.
