I would give this film 8.5 stars out of 10 (or 85 points in the official rotten tomatoes score) because the film is very well portrayed (in the characters mostly) and touching. The film talks about finding happiness in life through small moments. The plot is about a man who tries to achieve big goals (in this case play in a jazz band) and achieve happiness with them, he then goes through an adventure to come back from the soul world and back to reality out of unconsciousness. Along the way he finds out how to appreciate life’s small moments and makes friends with a young soul (22). I would really recommend this film for drama and fantasy lovers, because even if it is not officially “drama”, I was found on the edge of my seat. The film is so good, in my opinion it rises above all other Pixar films, with a more elaborate story and music. It is gripping and poignant in the best ways, and overall I would really recommend this film.
