Hader is a surprisingly good director who has a distinct visual style, often employing extreme close ups, long shots, side angles, and surreal imagery. Controversial for it's experimentation and multiple time jumps, the risks that this season takes are often what makes it so great. The highlight of the season and entire show is the finale, the final confrontation between Hank and Fuches is single greatest scene in the whole show. Barry ends ironically, but perfectly. I was honestly angry about it & walked away without watching the rest of the season. Can no one in Hollywood write an ending anymore?! I'm so burnt out on terrible, nonsensical final seasons to great shows. It's all we ever get anymore. It's enough to make you quit watching television altogether.
