Riese Bernard Autostraddle It’s a new take on a new era of queer community, one that looks at intra-community micro-aggressions and dynamics beyond the original’s occasional awareness that it was easier to be a super-hot white gay guy than a less hot white gay guy. Jul 11, 2022 Full Review Camilla Long Times (UK) Queer as Folk always felt dangerous and interesting, as if we were peeking in on a world we shouldn’t. The reboot feels jaded, as if we are watching things we’ve seen a hundred times before. Jul 5, 2022 Full Review Lucy Mangan Guardian It adds up to a warm, intricate, humane portrait of a world in which people are finding their feet and their chosen families, all on constantly shifting sands. It’s good to have the folk back. Rated: 3/5 Jul 1, 2022 Full Review Ludwig Hurtado them. The Peacock show toes a fine line between representing marginalized communities and potentially exploiting their trauma. Sep 26, 2022 Full Review John Paul King Washington Blade It may be trash TV, but it’s OUR trash TV, and that makes all the difference. Jun 16, 2022 Full Review Tim Teeman The Daily Beast Queer as Folk returns, with new characters caught up in the aftermath of a mass shooting. Trauma, romance, betrayal, and a lot of sex ensue in a proudly diverse, reimagined show. Jun 11, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Dinos K Great show, really perfect!! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/20/24 Full Review Ikerluz22 ʕ Flop. She didn't serve. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/24 Full Review Tania W It's just terrible. Nothing about this show holds out. The original Queer as Folks are so relatable, light humoured and tells a nice story about all the characters. This just feels so tokenistic and any excuse for a sex scene that adds no value to the story. I also feel using the real events of pulse nightclub was distasteful. I wanted to like it but stop watching after episode 3 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/02/23 Full Review Michael C Such an amazing show and was pretty freaking great wanted more seasons sucks it got canceled and definitely better than the original even though I love the original but I guessing people can't handle a diversified cast because the original queer as folk was an all white cast which was too vanilla for me but great show and I love diversity in shows like this Queer As Folk!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/15/23 Full Review Co-Host C Horrible , didnt even make it thru 1 episode i stick with the original american version or the uk version Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Daniel J I've seen each version of this show, from the original British series to the on-too-long American show years ago. This one feels like the best parts of the old shows, but with truly impressive inclusivity and new voices. It's not perfect, but it's a lot of fun and has something to say.
