It’s remarkable how much Strange New Worlds is able to accomplish in so little time. It helps that the episodes are 15-20 minutes longer than the Nineties shows got to deploy. Mostly, though, it’s that this creative team has a strong grasp on its crew.

Season 2 Episode 9 was the episode that clenched it. Everyone did a musical singing number. I decided right then and there the direction this particular Star Trek TV series was going a-wall and not in a good way. Absolutelty hated it. If you want to watch a really decent Star Trek TV Series, go for Star Trek Discovery. They knew what they were doing.

One of the best new Star Trek shows in a while. I love the episodic shows. They are fresh and creative. The cast is wonderful. The show does a great job of telling the stories of the Enterprise crew under Captain Pike, before Kirk takes over. It's refreshing to see more stories involving legacy characters like Uhura, Nurse Chapel and Spock. An absolute gem.
