Daniel L I really enjoyed this series. Went in with no expectations and came out a fan. Alot of good characters with nice development arcs to them. It makes you cheer at times, because you want Mickey (main character) to win and he does alot with unexpected ways. I was at times pondering if he figured out what i was figuring out. Kinda like you're in there with him, trying to get clients free from their whatever crimes. With very little promotion or fanfare, and no bombastic a-list stars, it's easy to overlook this drama/mystery. However Lincoln Lawyer is perfectly cast; each character exhibits perfect believability without overacting, but still capturing your interest. The show also does a good job of NOT being a lawyer show or a procedural show. It doesn't hit you over the head with it's lawyer talk or coming off as too grandiose, as it really does blend in the aspects of sleuthing, mindgames and bad behavior well enough to keep this from being poisoned by other cop/lawyer shows. The show doesn't rely on fiery plot twists that spike, rather each episode does a good job by offering a steady and consistent amount of bitesized plot twists to keep you motivated.
