Volume 1 starts and ends very strong, with a bit of meandering in between. While the season as a whole is easy to appreciate, some of the individual episodes tend to repeat themselves.

If i could rate this a 0, I would. My best friend has read the books to the entirety. Hes the one that turned me on to the games and books alike. The changes they make to characters deaths like a certain Witchers’ death is astounding. Having an actor such as Henry Cavil that absolutely loves the story and embodies the character and then completely butchering the story being told is ridiculous.

There is no legitimate reason for any of the writers, show runners, or anyone involved in turning the amazing Witcher stories into unwatchable, nonsensical drivel to still be employed. Everyone involved in this show should send Henry Cavill a fruit basket and 60% of their yearly income because none of them have enough talent or skill to even write or film a homemade porn clip, let alone an actual show.

Enough. I can't watch any more. This isn't a Witcher series anymore, it's the Yennifer/Ceri show. Why are you making this drivel? If you wanted to tell a different story entirely than what was provided in the books, why didn't you just make that story without stealing the Witcher IP and poisoning it? You could've saved a TON of money telling the story you wanted to tell, and fans wouldn't have been nearly as disappointed. You called it the Witcher, filled it with the allure of being a Witcher series, then essentially coopted the audience's expectation with an entirely different story that in itself resembles a Witcher novel very little. Somebody's head needs to figuratively roll for this dramatic waste of time and money. Stick to at least the spirit of the IP you buy. Nobody but maybe hate watchers should watch season 3.
