Samsung has rolled out the Android 9 Pie update for a handful of mid-range devices this month. The devices that have received it so far include the 2018 iterations of the Galaxy A9, Galaxy A8, Galaxy A8+ and the Galaxy A7. It's the Galaxy A6+'s turn today.

The company is rolling out the Galaxy A6+ Android Pie update today. It's out in Poland and will soon be available to users in other markets across the globe.

Galaxy A6+ Android Pie out in Poland

The Galaxy A6+ was launched to fill the gap in Samsung's premium mid-range lineup which include the Galaxy A8 and the Galaxy A8+. It offered the right mix of features taken from both the affordable and mid-range Galaxy J and Galaxy A series. We noted in our Galaxy A6+ review that while it's a good phone, it's let down by its high price tag.

Samsung has released firmware version A605FNXXU3BSC6 for the Galaxy A6+ in Poland. It brings all of the features that are part and parcel of Android 9.0 Pie in addition to Samsung's One UI. The latest security patch for the month of March 2019 is included as well. The update is available over-the-air and it's also available from our firmware database.

We have already covered all of the new features in One UI in considerable detail. You can also check out our One UI video demo to find out more about the new user experience. Owners can manually try downloading the Galaxy A6+ Android Pie update by heading over to the Software update section of the Settings app and tapping on Download updates manually. Have you received the update yet in your country? Drop a comment below and let us know.
