The latest software update for the carrier-locked Galaxy S20 series devices in the US comes with firmware version G98xUSQS2EVB3. It includes the February 2022 security patch that fixes over five dozen security vulnerabilities. The update is currently rolling out on Sprint and T-Mobile networks in the US. The update could also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.

If you are a Galaxy S20 series smartphone user in the US, you can check for the new software update on your device by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy S20 series in 2020 with Android 10 onboard. The three smartphones in the series received the Android 11-based One UI 3 update in 2021 and the Android 12-based One UI 4 update last month.
