While Samsung is launching the Galaxy S24 series worldwide, the company has not forgotten its older, lower-priced smartphones. Several devices started getting the January 2024 security update from the second week of this month, and it is now the Galaxy A34 that is getting the new security update.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A34 is now available, and it comes with firmware version A346BXXS5BWL2. Samsung launched the Galaxy A34 in early 2023 with Android 13 onboard. The mid-range phone received the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update a few weeks ago. It will get three more Android OS updates in the future if Samsung upholds its promise of rolling out a total of four Android OS updates to the device.
