Just as we thought the barrage of Android 13 updates may have taken a short break, Samsung hit us with another One UI 5.0 update, this time for an inconspicuous Flipkart-exclusive device in India. Samsung is now seeding the Android 13 One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy F62.
The One UI 5.0 Galaxy F62 update includes the November 2022 security patch and carries firmware version E625FDDU2CVK2. The November 2022 security update addresses a handful of issues, some of which concern Samsung software, but evidently, the highlight is the arrival of One UI 5.0.
The Galaxy F62 isn't Samsung's first mid-range, cost-effective phone to receive One UI 5.0, but this doesn't make the timely release of Android 13 to the Galaxy F62 less welcomed or surprising. In theory, Galaxy F62 users should get better performance through the Android 13 One UI 5.0 update, along with more customization options, an expanded Material You color palette, and various Samsung apps updated to the One UI 5.0 standard.
If you own the Galaxy F62 and you haven't received the update notification, you should be able to trigger the update by opening the Settings app on your phone and tapping “Software update” » “Download and install.” Alternatively, you can skip this process and download the official firmware files from our website, which you can then use for manual updates through your PC.
