The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is one of Samsung's most highly anticipated devices for 2022. It takes the baton from the Galaxy Z Flip 3, arguably one of Samsung's best-selling foldable smartphones yet. Little is known about the changes that the company will introduce with this device.
We've found out about one of them. SamMobile can exclusively confirm that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be available with 512GB of internal storage. This will be the first time that Samsung's clamshell foldable is offered with this level of capacity.
Samsung fans are going to love the 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 4
Expanding the internal storage seems to be a core theme for Samsung's 2022 foldables. We have also exclusively confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is getting a 1TB variant. Similarly, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is getting a higher storage tier as well.
Fans are going to welcome this change. Samsung isn't likely to include a microSD card slot on the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 doesn't have one either. So internal storage is certainly a crucial element.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 doubles the maximum internal storage to 512GB. Its predecessor comes with 256GB as the maximum. We can confirm that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will come with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. SM-F7210, SM-F721U1, and SM-F721N are among the 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 4 models.
Prices for the base model are expected to remain the same at $999. With the 256GB Galaxy Z Flip 3 priced at $1049, it's quite possible that Samsung may charge $1,100 for the 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 4. These are just estimates based on current prices but they do seem plausible. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in August.
