In April this year, Google rolled out the ability for the Google Play Store to download and install multiple new applications simultaneously. On a few devices, it also downloaded and installed multiple app updates at the same time but the company pulled that feature back within a few days. Well, Google is now once again rolling out the ability for the Play Store to download and install multiple app updates simultaneously.
Since yesterday, on our Galaxy S23 Ultra, the Google Play Store has been downloading and installing updates for up to three apps at once. You can check it out in the image below.
The new feature reduces the time required for Google Play Store to download and install updates, causing less interruption to users while they are using their phones, especially, those apps.
How to get the new feature?
We noticed the Google Play Store doing so without updating it, Google Play Services, or the phone. So, it looks like the company is rolling out the new feature as a server-side change. Google might be releasing the feature in phases. So, you will have to wait till the company makes it available for your device, which could take a few days. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do to get it faster.

We hope that Google doesn’t pull back the new feature this time like it did back in April. Follow us on Telegram or WhatsApp to get updates about more such cool features.
