In October 2024, Samsung released One UI for its TVs, which brought a new user interface and new features. Initially, the company made the update available for its flagship models, including the S90C, S95C, S90D, and S95D. Now, the brand seems to be releasing the update for more affordable models.
On Reddit, a user reports that they have received One UI on their Samsung QLED 4K QE1 TV from 2023, which is one of the company’s mid-range models. It suggests that the South Korean tech giant has started rolling out One UI to its more affordable TVs.
How to check for the One UI update on Samsung TVs?
To check if your Samsung has released One UI for your TV, go to Settings » All Settings » Support » Software Update » Update Now. Your TV might take several minutes to get updated. If power goes out during that, it might damage your TV. So, make sure to connect it to a power socket that has a power backup in case the electricity goes out.
